Vint took acting classes for years at the Actor's Studio. Lee Strasberg's book "The Actor's Studio" states that only one in a thousand were accepted through audition at the Actor's Studio. -- and Vint was one of the fortunate ones.

He shows actors how to "internalize". He says, "An actor can walk with a limp, strap on a nose, talk with an accent, but it's all meaningless if he hasn't internalized his part. Anybody can pretend to cry and pretend to laugh. It means nothing -- absolutely nothing if the part is not internalized".

Vint's methods are hard-core Stanislavsky. He says "I have studied and worked with the best in the business, and I know exactly what their procedures are. It is a great pleasure to pass this torch of knowledge onto the younger generation. Nothing in my life is more fulfilling."

In his Portland acting classes, Vint teaches that the study of acting has no equal in terms of personal growth, saying: "Even if you never make a dime as an actor, your life will be enormously enriched in terms of personal confidence, public speaking ability, meeting fascinating people, and delving into the great literary minds of past and present, like Shakespeare, Ibsen, and Chekhov". He continued by saying, "Actors are my favorite people. A table full of actors is always the most interesting table in the place. They are just naturally interesting, and become even more so when they dig in and study hard".

As a movie actor, Vint has done major parts in over a hundred films and television shows. He has directed three films, produced three, and had five screenplays go to screen. All of these films were released internationally. He just finished a starring role as an evangelist in a film that was shot in Belgium, London, and Morocco. It is scheduled to open at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Vint is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and attends the Oscars frequently.
